Kellie’s has been described as a “visionary” and a “strategic leader who is upward bound.” She currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer and Co-Managing partner of Collins Einhorn Farrell PC. Kellie’s election was historically significant when she became the only and youngest ethnic minority to hold this position at a majority owned law firm in the State of Michigan. The unanimous decision to promote Kellie was based on her demonstrated ability to think strategically about the firm as both a team of unique individuals and a business in a rapidly changing professional environment. Crain’s Detroit recently recognized Kellie as a law firm leader “breaking the leadership mold.” Michigan Lawyer’s Weekly recognizes Collins Einhorn as one of the best women-led law firms of 2025.Prior to her promotion to CEO, Kellie led the firm’s equity, inclusion and belonging working group and the women’s business affinity group. She is also a leader of the commercial litigation and catastrophic liability practice groups. In 2024, she founded the firm’s AI Ethics & Compliance practice group and became one of the leaders of it.

During her 20-year legal career, Kellie has represented clients in complex commercial and general liability litigation matters. Her practice and her career have both evolved over time. Kellie now advises and consults with clients regarding risk strategy, complex discovery matters involving artificial intelligence and a wide range of contract and indemnity cases. Kellie’s clients include Fortune 500 companies in the public utility, automotive and health care sectors. Kellie is a frequent presenter and in national and local legal conferences. She has educated attorneys and business professionals about large loss risk issues, autonomous vehicles, best practices for implementing DEI policy and most recently, artificial intelligence. In 2024, Kellie appeared on FOX 2 News to discuss the impact of AI on the legal profession. She has also been invited to share her insights with the State Bar, Claims Legal Management, RiskWorld and clients interested in emerging technology.
