Irene Nobles is an experienced Nurse Executive with over three decades of healthcare experience, having expertise in Clinical Risk and Regulatory Compliance in Long Term Care and Acute/Post- Acute physical rehab settings. Irene began her healthcare career in 1988, where she worked for the State of California’s mental health institution as a psychiatric technician caring for the chronically mentally ill and criminally insane.

She went on to complete her nursing degree in 1998, gaining diverse experience in chemical dependency & addiction rehab, behavioral health, pediatrics, hospice, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury and other neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries, home health, and geriatric nursing.

In 2011, Irene obtained her license as a Healthcare Risk Manager and shortly thereafter, became the Director of Quality & Risk Management and Patient Safety Officer for a national hospital organization specializing in acute rehab. While in this role, she obtained her Master of Nursing degree in Leadership and Management and went on to become the hospital’s Chief Nursing Officer.

After a long tenure working in the healthcare industry, Irene decided to utilize her expertise in a different forum. Her passion for quality care, process improvement, and systems development, combined with her strong desire for patient advocacy, led her to the field of Legal Nurse Consulting. Irene now serves as a consulting and testifying expert for medical malpractice and personal injury, plaintiff and defense counsel Nationwide. Additionally, she serves as an Advisory Board member for academic nursing and certified nurse’s aid programs and is a member of the Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, where she recently served as a Journal Editorial and Peer Review board member.
