Marilyn McCullum is a certified emergency nurse and has worked in emergency departments throughout the nation since 2011. She has been working as a nurse expert and DME observer since 2018. She enjoys writing and has published several articles, including the 2022 JLNC Article of the Year about fall prevention. She resides in Santa Rosa, California, with her wife and three young daughters.

There, she continues to work clinically in a local emergency department as well as remotely as a subject matter expert for a renowned healthcare learning management system.
